Why this site exists
duramax.parts is a fitment-first parts hub for the GM Duramax diesel. Most of the money owners waste comes down to buying the right part for the wrong year, trim, or platform, so every pick here starts with what it actually fits and then works out to whether new aftermarket or used OEM is the smarter buy for that specific job.
What the byline stands behind is checkable: no invented prices, no fabricated specs, and no forced fitment claims where a fact cannot be verified. When something is model-year specific it is said plainly; when it cannot be verified it is left out.
How a page gets published
Five rules, applied to everything here:

Fitment first, always
Most of the money wasted on parts is spent on something that fits the other year, trim, or platform. Every pick here starts with what it actually fits, and the generation or engine code is called out explicitly rather than implied.

No invented prices or specs
Current pricing lives on the retailer product page or the seller’s live listing — never cached, estimated, or invented on-site. Specs that cannot be verified are left out rather than guessed at.

Two marketplaces, on purpose
New, aftermarket, and consumable parts go to Amazon with direct product links. Used, OEM, salvage, and hard-to-find parts go to live eBay Motors listings, where you can see the actual part number and the seller’s own photos.

This site earns through affiliate links (Amazon Associates and the eBay Partner Network) and display ads. Rankings are never for sale, and no brand sees a page before it publishes.
